These paintings all feature a geometric design intended to convey an impression of stained glass or emotional reactions/viewer experiences when viewing stained glass. Colored glass is my favorite art form & the richness, fluid complexity & clarity of color achieved by glass artisans is mesmerizing & awe inspiring. I've tried to mimic some of the color clarity & contrast complexity, fluidity of movement & architectural & structural design achieved in art glass & stained glass windows by master craftsman. The fluid interplay of colors, marks & textures is designed to evoke the dramatic translucency of stained glass as a focal point in a room.

Title, creation date, dimensions & materials used in each painting are specified by clicking on enlarged picture of painting. Each painting is signed within the painting so it can be displayed in any direction. Canvas sides are painted in a color complementary to the painting & are not "wrap-around" (painting does not continue onto canvas sides).
