These paintings are all whimsical, folk art, or simple art intended for the young or "young-at-heart" (like me!). It's art designed to make you smile & provide a happy or comforting impression. It's art in the "folk art" spirit. Some paintings feature holiday subject matter; most are suitable year round. These paintings all feature bright, happy colors, simple imagery & simple defined brushwork. They work anywhere you want a bit of happy color for that comforting feeling of home, holidays or just joyful exuberance!

All paintings are for sale unless marked SOLD or "Not For Sale." All paintings are original works of art & can't be duplicated (similar art is possible by commission). All paintings are acrylic paint on stretched primed cotton canvas unless otherwise noted. Some paintings also feature inks, charcoals, graphite/pencil, water soluble crayons, Aquarelle, glazes, glitters, metallic paints/effects/leaf or other mediums or embellishments as noted. 

 

Title, creation date, dimensions & materials used on each painting are specified for each painting. All paintings are signed. All canvas edges are painted a complementary color to the painting, but are not "wrap-around" (painting image does not continue on canvas sides) unless noted.

​Any painting can be purchased in a free-mount "floating" finished wood frame. Frame cost is separate & not included in painting price. Please contact me if you are want to view available framing options & sample photos of framed paintings.
